Halloween Glam Mask Mantel

My favorite time of year to decorate the mantel is Halloween.  Here was the mantel last year.  The haunted house silhouette makes such a statement in the room, but this year I wanted to incorporate our collection of masks into the mantel.  Before I knew it, the haunted house was relocated and I had a completely different look for the mantel this year...without spending a dime.

I ended up with a black & cream theme with the black lanterns, cream candles, black and cream masks and other small accents.
Here is the mantel lit up:
My son said it needed some orange, so I worked some orange pumpkins into the mix.
The Happy Haunting banner was made last year for our Happy Haunting Halloween Party.
We added a few black poster board bats to keep the eye moving across the room.
Nothing beats remote candles!  The mantel is easy to light up and turn off before bedtime.
The mantel last year was a little more spooky, but the kids didn't  mind since we set up the Trick or Treat table in the hallway.  My sister-in-law was asking me about Halloween decorations.  I only added two LED skeleton heads to my decor collection this year.  I recommended hitting up the clearance section after Halloween to grow your decorations each year.  For more Halloween Project ideas, click the image below:
