Mint M&M Brownies

February is a big baking month with family birthdays and Valentine's Day.  I thought March might slow down, but we've got St. Patrick's Day around the corner and a ton of things I want to make for Easter by the end of the month.
I spotted this package of Mint Dark Chocolate M&Ms as I was checking out at the store the other day and thought they'd go well with brownies:
Rather than making a pan of brownies, I lined a cupcake pan with green liners and filled each cup about half full with brownie batter:
Then I opened the M&Ms and placed three M&Ms in each brownie cup prior to baking:
The brownies baked approximately 25min at 3350F.
Some of the M&Ms sunk while the brownies baked, so I gently pressed fresh M&Ms on top of the melted/sunk M&Ms
There you go...brownies dressed up for St. Patrick's Day.  Isn't Green everyone's favorite M&M?
Not a mint fan?  Although the Mint M&Ms are double the size of regular M&Ms, you could just pick out the green M&Ms in a regular Milk Chocolate package.
Hold a plate of these green brownies in front of you to avoid being pinched on St. Patrick's Day.  Bet it will work.
