Sparkling Holiday Decor
The only way to lift the blues of leaving cousins after Thanksgiving was to haul out all of the holiday decor. We changed the Pandora channel to Christmas music and the kids eagerly got busy placing ornaments on the tree. It sure was 'Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas' in our home.
I only added a few things this year and all of those things are turquoise: THRO sequin chevron pillow, turquoise ruffle pillow and bird ornaments from PierOne, turquoise poinsettia stems from Michael's & two 5' pop up trees from Target.
I also added battery powered LED lights (on clearance after Christmas last year) to the mantel trees and garland. The lights brighten the dark greenery compared to last year.
The turquoise decorations really tie to the rest of the room.
You don't have to change all of your holiday decorations to get a new look.
Look for a few new pieces to go with what you have.
The gifts are all wrapped and under the tree!
Love the blue and the bling! Great job! Thanks for linking up to the CHQ Blog Hop! See you again next week!
