Tiny Teeth Sugar Cookies for the Tooth Fairy

She was the only 2nd grader at her school who hadn't lost a tooth...until TODAY!
I grabbed a bottle of Easter sprinkles on clearance and while I was putting them with the rest of the sprinkles, I thought..."Hmmmmm...those bunny heads sort of look like teeth when they are turned upside down..."
I mentioned to her the other day, "What if we make itty bitty teeth cookies for the Tooth Fairy when you lose your first tooth?"
She didn't speak to her brother after school and she said she even kept her mouth shut around Grandma, because she wanted to wait until I got home from work so I could find out first!  Cute.  I had to wait until 3rd grade before I lost my first tooth.
The cookies measure approximately 1/2" in diameter:
Hey, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny get cookies at our house, so why not the Tooth Fairy??
These fairies reside on a shelf in her bedroom, so we borrowed them for a few photos.  They seem like the Tooth Fairies I always imagined in my head as a little girl.
They lost teeth within days of one another.  He is only on his 3rd lost tooth as a 3rd grader.
The Tooth Fairy left (couldn't find) his tooth the other night, so tonight they decided it would be best to sleep in my bed and tuck their tiny teeth under my pillow.  Sweet dreams Tooth Fairy!

  1. Those cookies are adorable! That is so sweet that she wanted to wait until you got home so that you could be the first to know about her tooth. Thanks so much for sharing at Whimsy Wednesdays.

  5. That is so sweet! How fun for your daughter to make those mini cookies.
It's interesting how kids loose their teeth differently. My two oldest both lost their first in Kindergarten. We'll see what my younger kids do. Thanks for sharing at Terrific Tuesdays.
