Smudge Fans

Here are some previously designed smudge fans to use for clearing the energy of a space, person or object. Smuding is a ritual performed by lighting a smudge stick (often made of sage, but also made of sweet grass, juniper, cedar and other branches), palo santo (which is a lemony/minty wood) or even by using a bell or mist of salt water to ward off any energies that you wish to leave your space, your aura or an object. These feather fans are made to waft the smoke around the room or body or object, Made from ethically sourced feather, every fan has a feather(s) personally found on local hikes in Holy Cross Wilderness Area and Eagle's Nest Wilderness Area.

Sodalite Smudge Fan

- Truth Smudge Fan -
Sodalite tumbled stone sits on top of a drift wood handle, suede wrapped handle with howlite beading. Turkey feathers, spotted feather, blue/silver painted feather with natural feathers at the base. The color blue represents the throat chakra. Sodalite is a stone of truth and improves communication. 

Selenite Smudge Fan

- Peace Smudge Fan -
Two pieces of Selenite and Amazonite beads adorn the driftwood handle of the Peace Smudge Fan. Turkey feathers, blue/silver painted feather and natural feathers at the base. Selenite is a stabilizing and balancing crystal used for protection and connecting with spirit. Amazonite brings soothing energies.

Chrysocolla Smudge Fan

Chrysocolla can be used to purify a space or person. It discharges negative energies and creates harmony and balance. It allows inner truth to surface. Green is the color of the heart chakra and blue is the color of the throat chakra. A peacock feather symbolizes all-seeing knowledge and represents the goddess Lakshmi. It absorbs negative energies and offers protection. The Selenite handle is trimmed with a brown leather band.

Citrine Smudge Fan

Citrine activates, opens and energizes the solar plexus chakra. Citrine absorbs negative energies from the space and from the body. It enhances personal power and creativity.  Used as a talisman to ward off evil spirits, a peacock feather symbolizes all-seeing knowledge of God and represents the goddess Lakshmi. It absorbs negative energies and offers protection. Color tip dyed white turkey feathers, gold tipped feathers and natural fill feathers are held to a Selenite handle with black cording.
