Girl Baby Shower Ideas

This baby shower isn't one of my typical posts filled with tutorials and recipes to create a picture perfect party.  My friend Amy asked if I could help her with a baby shower she wanted to throw for a mutual friend.  Having never hosted a baby shower (neither one of us), she planned with a Pinterest board filled with pretty little pink ideas.  Pink tulle, tutus, roses, shabby chic...oh, baby!

This is a post to show that we are all capable of throwing together a gorgeous party with a little help of our friends.  Amy's woodworking husband even pitched in and cut out the wooden baby letters and cradle to be painted and adorned with ribbon, tulle and fresh roses.
Sparkling pink lemonade with fresh blueberries in mason jars with baker's twine and pink chevron straws:
Little lamb 3 tiered diaper cake by our friend Gisela:
Mason jars sprayed with silver paint and filled with pink roses wrapped in ribbon:
Our collaborative cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, fresh fruit skewers, veggies, chicken sandwiches and darling onesie napkins:
The napkins were so precious no one wanted to use them for drinks!
Amy had us fill out questionnaire cards:  wishes for baby.  We shared our answers and it was amazing to hear the variety of wishes as women with and without children, with grown children and grandchildren.  What an honor to celebrate motherhood in all of its many forms!
