Happy Mother's Day! As a single mom, I like to treat myself to my own Mother's Day gifts. My kids and I always joke when it comes to me picking out (and paying for) my own gifts "from them". This year, they brightened up my bedroom with new bedding and pillows.

The Company Store: Joyride. Everything about it is perfect- the bikes, the birds, the colors. Here is the Nate Berkus comforter I bought for Mother's Day about 8 years ago. I still love the comforter, but I don't rarely use it because I prefer my down comforter.
I've had the 2 wrought iron sconces hanging on either side of the bed for almost as long as I've lived here and still had nothing over the bed. I ordered this arrow frame from
Joss & Main (invite link) a few weeks ago.
The arrow pillow is from Society6. I love the pillow covers from Society6- they have nice zipper closures and the designs are printed on both sides. I've had the pillow for several months and I love the print, but it didn't really fit with anything yet. The colors in the arrows match the bedding so perfectly- funny how that happens. I also ordered some Premiere Prints fabrics in the arrow print (pink/turquoise/coral/white&coral) for throw pillows.
I was going to cover the Euro pillows in the hot pink arrow print, but then the Company Store put the Joyride Euro sham on sale with free shipping, so I bought the shams to go with the bedding. The coral arrows (not at all the same shade of coral) was going to make a new bedskirt, but I decided to stick with the brown bedskirt to go with the brown headboard.
In need of a good desk lamp or lamp for the nightstand? I just found
this lamp at Costco today for half the price online. It is LED with a ton of settings (daylight/warm/natural light), alarm, USB port.
I love it! So bright and happy!
