Welcome to Family Game Night In!  Family Game Night doesn't usually look like this, but sometimes it is fun to go all out!  I'm pretty sure M&Ms® run through my veins.  I am a huge supporter of the candy.  Honestly, I workout to support my M&Ms® habit- from Mega to Minis and everything in between.  It's not a stretch for me to throw a game night with gobs of M&Ms® worked into the mix.

I purchased the Hasbro® games, M&Ms® and snacks at Walmart last week.  The party size bag of M&Ms® were sitting right in front of the checkout.  You can print off a coupon now to use at Walmart.
Jenga, by Hasbro®, is one of my all-time favorites- easily located in the toy section.
Who doesn't love Hasbro's® Monopoly?  I located the classic various but there are plenty of other versions, as well.
Getting the party snacks all ready to put on the game table after dinner.
Homemade M&Ms® Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe here.
I have plenty of recipes with M&Ms® in them.  Peanut Butter Cookies, Mint Brownies, Marbled Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies
Here is an easy snack:  pretzel dipping sticks with peanut butter and Mini M&Ms®.
As a special twist for the game, I created M&Ms® Monopoly boards.  Each kid was asked to fill in a number 1-5 on the spaces with colors.  When they land on the regular Monopoly board, they refer to the M&Ms® board to see how many M&Ms® to add or subtract from their M&Ms® bank.
Feel free to use the game template I created:
I left the spaces blank so you can fill in whatever version you come up with and it keeps it fun being able to switch it up.
The adults had fun watching the kids play and eating the snacks.  Even the really little ones got in on the Jenga games.
Family Game Night is back on our radar.  I know I feel much closer to my kids when I set up games and play with them.  It's so important as they move closer to teenagers to keep that connected family time.
What are your favorite games for Family Game Night?
