Working with all men

Working with 5 guys isn't so bad.  Today, they brought me flowers.  Not all done up like this...

 They know how much I like to do my own flowers...

 I took the single bouquet and made two small arrangements.

 Fill two 4" square vases with water...

Separate the flowers and the greens and green the vases first.  The greenery selection is always limited in these bouquets.  Lemon leaf can be a big leaf for a small arrangement, but you can let it drape well over the sides and then come back and snip some leaves once the flowers are placed.

 Remember to cut your stems at an angle for best water/nutrient absorption.

 One for my desk and one to take home...

 Makes working with all men more tolerable.  They are worse than women with all of their drama.

Ah, I still work with a pretty great crew.  They're like family.
