Staring off into space

This is the wall hanging in my mom's sewing room.  The pattern is Strips 'n Curves.

This one took a while with all of the strips and ombre gradients.  Sometimes I feel just as involved in her quilts as she consults which fabrics/colors/patterns to pair.  At times I turn my nose up at something, but it always seems to come together like a dream.
