Dog-gone cupcakes

My son quickly selected the dog cupcakes from Hello, Cupcake for his birthday.

He couldn't, however, decide on the flavor so we made chocolate and red velvet...

With Valentine's Day around the corner, we found these heart-shaped marshmallows to use for the snouts- worked perfect.

These were easier to decorate than they look.

I scored a lot of cool mom points when I showed up to the 2nd grade classroom.
